Wartime Blues, an orchestral folk-outfit based in the Montana mountains, recently opened for The Decemberists, and have shared the stage with Bill Callahan, and Prince Rama, among others.
They've released their third album, April, Texas, after a three-year hiatus. Set in the vast expanse of the Southern Plains, recorded in a house along the shores of Flathead Lake, Montana.
Joining them is local band, Pine League! The quartet has refined their sound and already has a couple of Volume: Inlander Music Festivals under their belts. They are amazingly talented and never fail to put on a dope show.
