Her style is lyrically driven accompanied by island rhythms and moody vocals. Leilani has played with Ziggy Marley Sublime with Rome Incubus Dirty Heads Soja Common Kings and more.. her influences include Bob Marley Bob Dylan and Lauryn Hill

For two decades, Kyle Cook spent the bulk of his musical life as the lead guitarist of matchbox 20. He co-wrote some of the songs and invented many of the instrumental riffs that have become distinguishing parts in such radio staples as “Real World,” “Unwell” and “Bent.” But plenty of his creative persona was held in check as he collaborated in a team effort.
With Wolves, his solo debut, Cook invests so much of himself in the project that a discerning listener can get a good idea of who the guitar player really is. He’s a studied musician with an all-American Midwestern background, a guy who has a penchant for classic rock with just enough classical training to make him dangerous, and an adult whose experiences with the cycle of love and loss are extraordinarily familiar.
Paul McDonald was in the Top 8 on Season 10 of American Idol, has shared the stage and toured with John Mayer, Hanson, Stevie Wonder and Zac Brown Band. He has been a popular festival act playing Bonnaroo, SXSW, Live on the Green and performed on nationally televised shows like Good Morning America, The Today Show, NBC’s Parenthood and The Tonight Show.

Swingin' Utters@ have been kicking around the San Francisco Bay Area for 25 years now. They’ve met their wives and their best friends on these streets; they’ve grown and aged right here in the Bay Area. This has ignited the very essence of what goes into their value system and more importantly their music, because it is a reflection of those experiences. For example, the band took a break to raise their families, right at the height of their popularity! Did it faze them? Not really. That’s the thing with these guys. It is family first, with music always germinating within those life choices. During the Utters’ semi-hiatus, they all continued playing music in bands like Druglords of the Avenues, the Re-volts and Filthy Thieving Bastards. Their life experiences influence what goes into their records. A case in point is their debut: 1995’s The Streets of San Francisco; their first full length and an essential “streetpunk” masterpiece. Fat Mike took notice of their grit and honesty, and signed them to Fat Wreck Chords. From there they put out a ton of great records, including A Juvenile Product of the Working Class, Five Lessons Learned, Brazen Head, Swingin’ Utters and Dead Flowers, Bottles, Bluegrass, and Bones. For 10 years the Utters toured relentlessly with the likes of Rancid, NOFX, Dropkick Murphys and everyone in between. Which brings us back to celebrating their 25th anniversary, the band fully recharged with their second album in three years and no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
Gallows Bound - Formed in 2012 in Winchester VA, GALLOWS BOUND consists of a group of six childhood friends who all grew up together in their local punk scene. When they weren’t thrashing in their former punk and metal bands, they would play acoustic instruments at house parties, bonfires, and basements. Although deeply rooted in the traditional bluegrass of their home in Virginia, GALLOWS BOUND has a strong affection for their upbringing in punk rock and stitches their influences together in a blazing fury of Appalachian Punk Bluegrass. The band thumbs their nose at tradition in every sense which allows them to weave through many different scenes. Pushing the boundaries in all genres, their diverse range has landed GALLOWS BOUND on varying stages from iconic country landmark Gruene Hall in Texas to NYC’s legendary punk house C-Squat.
Wasted Breath -
Wasted Breath has perfected their unique combo of witty sing- alongs, brash guitar leads, show-off drum fills, & "fuck you" attitude. This band will kick your teeth in, make you shake your ass, & keep you smiling from the very first downbeat. A treat for Rock & Rollers of all ages & musical tastes.
The Other Favorites is the long time duo project of Carson McKee and Josh Turner. Perhaps best known for their performances on YouTube, which have garnered millions of views. The Other Favorites are now based out of Brooklyn, NY. Together, Turner and McKee bring their shared influences of folk, bluegrass and classic rock into a modern framework; one distinguished by incisive songwriting, virtuosic guitar work and tight two-part harmony.
Reina del Cid is a singer songwriter and leader of the eponymous folk rock band based in Minnesota. Her song-a-week video series, Sunday Mornings with Reina del Cid, has amassed 24 million views on YouTube and collected a diverse following made up of everyone from jamheads to college students to white-haired intelligentsia. In 2011 she began collaborating with Toni Lindgren, who is the lead guitarist on all three of Del Cid’s albums, as well as a frequent and much beloved guest on the Sunday Morning videos. The two have adapted their sometimes hard-hitting rock ballads and catchy pop riffs into a special acoustic duo set which they will tour in Europe and the United States this year.

Revolutionary music may seem hard to come by in these days and times. Long gone is the era of artists like Bob Marley, The Clash, Stevie Wonder and Patti Smith getting airplay and bringing their messages to the masses. But that doesn’t mean that the revolution isn’t still brewing in the hearts and minds of many people around the globe.
Meet Mike Love. One of reggae music’s rising stars. Born and raised in Oahu, Hawaii to a musical family that spans generations, Mike Love brings a multitude of influences to the table, all tied together by the common goal of making the world a better place.
Which is no mean feat. On his debut album, “The Change I’m Seeking”, Love harkens the legends of roots reggae in both his lyrics and his sound, but never relies on any one genre to hold him down. Coming from a wealth of influences – he started out playing classical piano as a teenager and later would perform in high school bands that were more akin to the grunge sounds of Soundgarden and Pearl Jam – Mike Love fuses the simple rhythms of classic reggae with the complex changes of the classical and rock music he was first trained on to come up with a style wholly unique to him. Mike is currently wrapping up his highly anticipated second album, titled “Love Will Find A Way”, due out September 2015.
But it’s his message, his passion, the wisdom behind his words that truly resonate with his fans. “It’s always been about the depth,” Mike Love explains, “I’ve never been into music that was shallow. I’m still learning. I’m still learning about where I’m going and where I want to be. All the music is a learning tool to me too. I just make myself open to it. All the messages that come through the music, it’s not just coming through me and my wisdom, because I don’t think I’m that wise of a person. I don’t think I’m some wise elder or anything like that. I just make myself open to the music and it just comes through. To me it’s just as much of a teaching for me as it is for anyone who is listening to it and is open to it.”
His songs take you on a journey, one of healing and inspiration. One designed to help you on your path to knowledge, wisdom and understanding. On “Permanent Holiday” he takes you on a lyrical quest for freedom, both his and yours. He laments the ills of the world but also discusses solutions and ideas to change them.
The story of INDUBIOUS is not for the faint of heart. Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, Indubious was forged in the fires of pain and destruction. Evton and Skip, brothers and bandmates born with Cystic Fibrosis and convinced by doctors of their impending death from an early age, have emerged as a powerful force for change and the future of conscious music. Their only choice has always been mind over matter, and time has proven that their unbending positive outlook, combined with an inspiring message of love and hope, has not only helped them overcome personal hardship, but catapulted their music onto the world stage with an unstoppable momentum.
Currently based in Oregon, Indubious has released four albums over the past few years, including Wake The Lion which was produced by EDM/Dub/Reggae pioneer Gaudi. Their new album From Zero, which dropped on 7-1-17, debuted at #6 on the Billboard Reggae Chart and #8 on iTunes Reggae Chart, features legendary guest artists including Dancehall icon Sizzla, Vaughn Benjamin (formally of Midnite and Akae Beka), and Reggae/R&B singer Zahira Soul. From Zero is a mix of conscious Dancehall and Roots Reggae with top level production. All songs were written, produced, and engineered by Indubious, and released on their own label Righteous Sound Productions.
Jon Wayne and the Pain The four-piece Twin-Cities, Minnesota rockers, Jon Wayne and The Pain (aka JWP) are best known for innovating acoustic-electronic dub, heightened with conscious lyrics and catchy riddims. The quartet has been mesmerizing fans for a decade, with their signature JWP cosmic-blend of electronic beats, fused with uplifting roots-driven beats and a hearty dash of conscious lyricism.
The band has carved a sizable niche for itself in the electronic and reggae-rock genres by their coast-to-coast road-warrior tours, playing more than one hundred and thirty shows per year and have blazed two sold-out shows at the Cabooze, filled with 1,000 attendees and recently had more than 800 at the famed First Avenue in Minneapolis for their CD Release Party. The band has performed on some of the nations most renowned music and art festivals, as Electric Forest, Summer Camp, Cali Roots, Shangri-la and Wakarusa to name a few.
JWP incorporates musical ingredients, filled with vibrant acoustic-electronic riffs, coupled with a delicate splash of roots-reggae and socially conscious lyricism. Over the years, the band has developed a sort of “Deadhead” Midwest following, as a proven mainstay in the ever-evolving music and festival scene.

Armed with old bastardized mid-century guitars, hand-me-down fiddles and banjos, home-made contraptions with just enough tension on a string to be considered an instrument and any random percussive item he can get his hands or feet on, Lincoln Durham is a Southern-Gothic Psycho-Blues Revival-Punk One-Man-Band with a heavy amped edge, preaching the gospel of some new kind of depraved music. With driving guttural beats backboning various growling stringed instruments Lincoln gives birth to a sound that transcends genres with his dark, poetic and raw writing style telling tales that E.A. Poe would have been proud of.

Swager Sessions #1: ASADI
Featured Headliner: ASADI
ASADI is a producer and live trap artist hailing from Columbus, Ohio. His creativity has led him to create a new style of electronic music called Persian Trap Music (PTM), sampling old music tapes from his first-generation Persian parents. ASADI’s ethnicity is very influential to his style of music production. His heritage is evident in his emotional and instrumental style of music that tells his fans a story they’ve never heard before. PTM allows listeners to experience a lush blend of revolutionary 808 rhythms, heavy bass, and dark overseas melodies. In addition to sampling old ethnic records that are a completely new experience to his fans, ASADI throws live production at his unsuspecting listeners with a sampler called the Maschine, where he showcases the incredible dexterity of his finger drumming skills by performing his own tracks, remixes and mashups. Over the past few years, ASADI has been gaining serious traction from various avenues, including his track, “Goldie” being featured on EDC Las Vegas’ 2018 top ten Spotify playlist. He also put out a wildly popular YouTube video featuring his remix of the opening music to the Harry Potter films; he has showcased this at his Electric Forest 2017 set and on some radio shows. Some of ASADI’s biggest inspirations include Flying Lotus, Bassnectar, Hucci, XXYYXX, and Kendrick Lamar. He is currently on tour, most recently in Budapest, Hungary and is thrilled to make his debut in the Pacific Northwest.

So transitioning to being a record label felt like a no brainer. DJX2050 been DJing since 2012, he started out in college in Cheney, WA, DJing many events for Eastern Washington University. Since then he has created a brand for myself and has done many different types of events. Even though he have only been at this since 2012, he has plenty of experience and unbelievable technical work when it comes to scratching. He has done weddings, corporate parties, birthday parties, hosted club nights, and had residencies at many different venues, we are lucky to have him on the lineup. But this is more than genre labels. The music, message & intention transcends. Get ready to be moved!

A reality of Full Freedom is a possibility on this earth and in these times. We use music infused with this intention to resonate at a higher frequency than what is being permeated across current world culture. As such, our frequency in this paradigm is a rebel … Rebel Music, Rebel Frequencies we deal with!” - Nattali Rize.

Our Headlining act, how can one describe the ephemeral dance of ear honey that Tyler, Jeff, and the rest of the crew deliver? Skunk by day and topus by night.
Skunktopus is a six-piece punk rock band that is constantly skirting the border between thrilling and absurd. They are here to melt your face off and drink mello yello.
Skunktopus didn't used to be the objectively best punk band in the universe though -- They first had to train in one of their former member's dad's basement (under three-thousand times gravity) for several million years. Now, some of them can even play their instruments! They don't even use rope to hold up their drums anymore.
Skuntopus knows that you have to surf to be cool, but they still are open to playing shows pretty much anywhere for anyone.

Kacy & Clayton with special guest The Deep Dark Woods, plus Spokane favorite Dario Ré, live at the Big Dipper, Tuesday, November 13th. Kacy & Clayton are amazing Folk musicians from Canada. $8 All Ages. Bar for 21+ Tickets on sale at kyrs.org
Sponsored by SNAP (Spokane Neighborhood Action Partners) and The Spokane Fall Folk Festival.
On tour opening for The Decemberists! Kacy & Clayton’s new album was produced by Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy and recorded at the band’s Chicago studio (The Loft), by Tom Schick, The Siren’s Song follows Kacy & Clayton’s 2016 record Strange Country. It’s the first album on which Anderson and duo partner Clayton Linthicum — second cousins who grew up in Saskatchewan, Canada — have incorporated electric full-band arrangements; they’re joined for the project by drummer / percussionist Mike Silverman and bassist Shuyler Jansen.
The Deep Dark Woods: Floods and plagues, ghosts and slaughter: woe to those who populate the songs of Yarrow. A gentle summer breeze swings the gallows ropes, flowers bloom callously on lovers’ graves. These anthems are definitely not from Eden.
The Deep Dark Woods’ newest album was borne in a fever – scarlet fever, to be medically specific. A disease of the last century is a fitting backdrop for songs that dig bare handed into the loam to unearth the corpses of old English folk and country blues. In Yarrow, the Deep Dark Woods are reimagined by leadman Ryan Boldt, and accompanied by the same band that crafted prairie psychedelics and a “loose grungy folk sound” (Paste) for flannelites. For nearly ten years they developed an international following with particular success in the Americana realm, nominated alongside Alabama Shakes and Dawes for Emerging Artist of the Year at the 2012 Americana Music Awards.
Now wrest out of the woods, their outlook is decidedly more macabre, tapping into a rich vein of gothic surrealism that aligns with some of the great murder balladeers of our time. With Appalachian soil under his fingernails, Boldt writes in a deep tradition of bleak and forlorn storytelling, drawing lines from Ireland to Tennessee, the Oxford Girl to Folsom Prison.
In Yarrow, there’s a juicy unease to frontman Boldt’s presence, as if a new door has opened to let loose the weirdness. In place of the freewheelin’ jammy vibe there’s a darker, stranger tenor that sides with those modern mystics whose music exists in the creepier, freakier corners of existence.
The Deep Dark Woods’ “Yarrow” was released on Six Shooter Records on October 27, 2017.
Dario Ré released his debut album, Aspen Artichoke, with an ensemble last year launching him and his collaborators into a consistent regional tour. A Spokane born singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, he uses his impassioned poetics to blend indie folk into a french gipsy fusion. He will be joined by Andie Daisley on vocals and Michael Starry on upright bass.
